Sometimes deciding what to eat for breakfast can be a real struggle; that’s where this recipe comes in.

We all love Apple Pie right? I mean who doesn’t? But what about Apple Pie you can eat for breakfast?

Okay, you’re right, you can totally eat real Apple Pie for breakfast whenever you want, and I’m all for that, BUT if you don’t have time to go and make yourself a whole pie, or you’re trying to cut back on sugar, or maybe you just want some oatmeal, this is the recipe for you!

This Simple Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is super easy to make, super tasty to eat, and super good for your body! Plus it’s so quick, you’ll actually have time to make breakfast in the morning. Whether it’s for yourself or your family, this oatmeal will satisfy any grumbly tummies and send you off to start your day full and happy.

There aren’t too many steps to this process, which is why it’s one of my favourite breakfasts! First of all, put a small pot on the stove on high heat, and slice your apple into small chunks.

Once the water begins to boil, bring heat down to medium and throw in your oatmeal, chia seeds, apple chunks, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Stir everything together, and, and stir.

Allow to cook until oatmeal has puffed, apples are slightly soft, and the water is almost all gone. Serve with fresh fruit, more seeds, and a drizzle of maple syrup, and enjoy!

This super simple recipe is a quick, tasty, and nutritious way to start your day with minimal effort. Just slice your apples, cook everything, and get to devouring!


  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Apple
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • Step 1 Put 1 cup water in a small pot on high heat, and slice apple into small chunks.
  • Step 2 Once water begins to boil, reduce heat to medium. Add all ingredients to the pot and stir. Allow to simmer until oats have puffed and liquid is almost completely gone.
  • Step 3 Serve topped with more chia seeds, hemp hearts, and fresh fruit of your choice!
